the helm for 2 years and all but one have led

Ms.
Pauline Shirley, President and Founder of WOVI,
Inc.
Ms. Shirley is President
of Leaders on Fire and dedicated to enhancing
the performance of individuals, companies, and
organizations. As a partner in the Entrepreneur
Leadership Center, she focuses on entrepreneurs,
small business owners, creatives, and
professionals. Inviting and creating confidence,
productivity, profitability, new skills and
resources, collaboration, support, and
accountability are her hallmarks. Pauline has
been a proven leader for over twenty-five years
in corporate, municipal, nonprofit, and
volunteer environments. Her first pinnacle
occurred when she became only the second women
to serve as the International President of
Toastmasters International, a 170,000-member
service organization. Her leadership and
motivational expertise is evident in the
accomplishments of WOVI, Inc. to date. The

Ms. Mary
Boyd, First Vice President and founding board
member of WOVI, Inc.
Ms. Boyd
currently serves as Retirement Manager for
Sammons Corporation in Dallas, Texas. Prior to
serving in that capacity, she managed the Human
Resource function for Alibre, Inc. She holds a
Bachelor of Science in Sociology. Her ability to
work with people and place them in the right
positions has been paramount to the success of
WOVI, Inc. She has served WOVI from its infancy
and leaves her mark of kindness, consistency,
and dedication on all those she meets.
Activities and contacts with community
organizations have brought ideas and presenters
to the programs and events of WOVI,
significantly increasing its success and impact.
Mary’s insight and ability to focus on the
future of the organization have kept WOVI
officers and members motivated and energized.
She consistently seeks to mentor other women.
Ms.
Janet Wilemon, Second Vice President and
founding board member of WOVI, Inc.
Ms. Wilemon
works for Amberton University in the role of
Director for Student Services. She holds a
Bachelor of Business Administration in
Management. In her career and as a volunteer,
being a service-oriented individual means she
places the immediate needs of others above all
else. She focuses on the task-at-hand, makes
sure processes are in place, ensures legalities
and technicalities are formalized, and provides
the dedication and support needed to implement
and coordinate events and policies. Janet was
instrumental in obtaining the IRS determination
for nonprofit status for WOVI, Inc. and has
written and revised bylaws for nonprofit
organizations.
Ms.
Lynda Rhodes, Vice President of Administration
and charter member of WOVI, Inc.
Ms.
Rhodes has been trained and certified as a
professional psychology counselor but recently
left a successful practice to pursue her
creative talents. An accomplished artist, she
is President and Owner of Creative Imagination
Artwork and winner of multiple awards for her
paintings. She has obtained her Bachelor of
Science in Business Administration and her
Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling.
Lynda brings her care and concern for humanity
to the forefront as she leads WOVI and guides
the group through growing pains and successful
events. Working with individuals in various
stages of life’s trials and successes has led
her to believe in and to empower the creativity
inside each person and to uncover the exciting
possibilities that mentoring has to offer. See

Ms.
Ellen Biggs, Vice President of Finance and
founding board member of WOVI, Inc.
Ms. Biggs is
currently the Assistant Vice President for High
Volume Staffing at Bank of America and has spent
twenty years in recruiting and business
development. Her high energy is evident in her
personal and professional life and her rapport
with recruiting candidates and clients creates
exciting opportunities for all involved. Ellen
is an accomplished Toastmaster and enjoys
presenting to various groups, especially in the
area of career transition. As the treasurer for
WOVI, Inc., she applies her accounting skills in
service to the organization. Possessing time
management and prioritization skills means
agenda items and special events are coordinated
and produced effectively and efficiently.
The board of
directors for WOVI, Inc. is a diverse group. The
variety of ages, ethnicities, religions,
education, experiences, and expertise combine to
truly make WOVI an international organization.
The collaboration achieved by the board is
amazing, productive, and successful. Fresh ideas
are considered, accepted, and acted upon when
appropriate. The consensus is that there is
always more that could and should be done. Our
emphasis and focus is that all women should have
